Try to sacrifice your self indulgence painting new seasons is an exhausting. Fitting into a new form is exhausting. Crippled by shame, tearing pages, and scribbling letters from a cold dark home, I sit and watch fat fingers navigate the keys of a laptop to contact artificial friends while students who are strung out regurgitate what they have been force fed from the frugal minds of those who seek solace in sterilization.

Whatever muse inspires Todd Fausnacht to pen his blue notes, he overshot by about two generations. Fausnacht is an echo chamber of the early twentieth century whose soulful blues ballads and front porch country toetappers kick up a Dust Bowl nostalgia the size of Oklahoma.
